Heading the global Innovation within Vestas – covering next generation WTG concepts and technologies, the full RE eco-system incl. Energy Management Systems & Storage and PtX.
Targeting the deployment of new concepts and business into existing and new markets – focusing on the mid to long term strategic opportunities essential for Vestas current and future products.
Responsibilities also cover university / industry partnership collaboration – incl. the recently announce Vestas Ventures, driving and supporting external innovation and new business
He has spent more than 15 years within the wind and renewables sector working within the field of engineering and technology – covering both the WTG OEM side and the utility segment, this through employments at Vestas and Vattenfall respectively – stretching, in total, more than 25 years of global experience.
Bo Svoldgaard is a member of the ETIPWind Advisory group, vice-chairman of Energy Cluster Denmark and member of executive committee of Megavind and comes with background within Electrical Engineering
